I graduated from Rogers High School in Puyallup Washington in 1981. I then served for 3 years in the United States Army in Germany. Then I came to Garden Valley where I have been ever since. I have a wife Lori who teaches Kindergarten here and two teenage daughters, Angie and Carolyn. I am very happy to be living here and teaching at our school. Policies you should be aware of: (1) Students should be in class and ready to work on time. (2) Students must follow rules and dirctions. (3) Bullying or putdowns is never acceptable behavior (4) Your child may correct and turn back in any papers that have mistakes in them. I will give them the higher grade if they have done the work again correctly. (5) Your 5th grader will do a report EVERY month. These reports are started at the 1st of the month and are due at the end of the month. By the middle of the month the students should have a rough draft done for me to edit. The final draft is to be done in ink. The topics vary. The report must have at least 5 written pages and 2 pages of pictures.
